Yes, it’s a peculiar choice to name one’s child, frankly he has no control over that matter. Art Blanc is a designer, letterer, illustrator, and an avid technophile – fancy word for a geek – born in Bandung, Indonesia the beautiful archipelago on earth’s warm equator belt. He graduated from Maranatha Christian University majored in communication design. He is still trying to learn calligraphy, you know, with pen, ink, paper, and lots of trial & error. He maybe have consumed enough caffeine to power a city, but he isn’t by all means a coffee-snob.

Art Blanc is not usually addresses himself as a third person – that would be weird – but it seems to be a rather ‘cool’ way to describe oneself nowadays.

I’m still preparing my personal site to be launched this year. I have an ad-interim tumblr site and a downloadable pdf portfolio, go ahead check them out. Well, that’s about it for now.
